Salmon Patties

 

  • How To Make Salmon Patties:

I use Double Q salmon in a can.pick out all bones and black skin.

Save the liquid in the can.You will need one hand beaten egg, onion powder, salt & pepper.about a half of cup each of flour and meal.

Mix all together.you can add some of the liquid the salmon was packed in the can with if the mixture seems too dry, shape into patties.

You can use all flour or all meal for a different taste and sometimes I change around.

 I cook the patties on med to med-high heat in a preheated iron skillet with enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet and half of the salmon patties, only turning once.

It takes about 5 to 8 minutes on each side, depending on how thick you make your patties.

 Drain on a paper towel.
