POOR MAN’S PRIME RIB

HOW TO MAKE POOR MAN’S PRIME RIB?

I haven’t cooked a roast in a long time. I’m referring to a proper roast in the oven. I did attempt a 30 Minute Instant Pot Roast, which was delicious, but it was in February. As a result, when I spotted roast on sale this week, I thought it was past time to give another a try. Now, Prime Rib is not in my budget, nor is a Standing Rib Roast, but here is my go-to technique for improving the flavor of a cheap grocery store roast, kind of a Poor Man’s Mock Prime Rib. This is a very simple recipe, but it’s a little unusual, and I’ve walked you through each step; don’t be alarmed by the post’s length!

I know one thing that cannot be replicated is the luscious fork-tender texture of a prime rib or standing rib roast or the intense meaty taste, and sometimes, sure, you do get what you paid for. Still, a basic, sale-priced grocery store roast, a Poor Man’s Mock Prime Rib, may provide a delectable, tasty dinner…if you’re cautious, follow certain guidelines, and assist it!
After successfully preparing the most DELICIOUS Boneless Prime Rib, I wanted to test if I could replicate the flavor with a less expensive piece of meat.

Was it feasible to make such a “special” dinner with a less expensive cut of meat?

Well…I’m here today to tell you that after following this recipe, I sat down to the most delectable medium-rare roast beef from a less expensive cut known as a sirloin roast.

THE BEEF INGREDIENTS:

2 Kg.Of sirloin tip roast.

1 large spoon.Of salt.

1 large spoon.Of ground black pepper.

1 large spoon.Of garlic powder.

THE MARINADE INGREDIENTS:

2 large spoons.Of Olive Oil.

1 large spoon.Of dried rosemary.

1 large spoon.Of dried sage.

1 small spoon.Of dried oregano.

A large Ziplock bag.

STEP-BY-STEP PREPARATION:

Step 1:

I combined the marinade ingredients in a large Ziplock bag or a container and I mix to combine.

Step 2:

Then, I tossed the sirloin roast in the mixed marinade, and placed the meat in the bag, and refrigerated it overnight.

Step 3:

The day after, I took the roast out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature; it took about 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Step 4:

After that, I seasoned the roast well with salt, freshly ground pepper, and minced garlic.

Step 5:

And I placed the roast in a glass dish or on an aluminum foil-lined baking sheet.

Step 6:

At this point, I turned the oven’s temperature to 500 degrees Fahrenheit to preheat.

Step 7:

And I baked the roast for 15 minutes, and I switch off the oven and let the roast in for two hours before removing it and slicing it.

Enjoy this tender meat on every occasion!!! And it’s all you need for the perfect keto lifestyle, it’s so quick and super easy and the whole family will love it for sure!!
