- HOW TO MAKE FUNNEL CAKE:
In a large deep skillet filled halfway with vegetable oil and heated to 375 degrees.
I used 2 eggs, 1 cup milk, 1 cup water, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar and 3 cups of self rising flour.
Whisked till smooth and took a funnel holding my finger over the hole and ladled mixture into it then holding it several inches above the oil made circular motions until funnel was empty.
It only took around a minute of cooking and I used tongs to flip it.
Removed and placed on paper towels then sprinkled powdered sugar over it.
