Fried Green Tomatoes

 

How To Make It:

I let them sit on paper towels after cutting them into fairly thick slices-dredge in coconut flour ( any flour will do) dip in eggs then corn meal with a little flour and seasoning (I like garlic and pepper-Cayanne pepper if you like a little spice(paprika will give them a nice color)

But you don’t need to season them other than salt and pepper when they are finished.

I use olive oil to fry them in a cast iron skillet-salt after they are plated because if you salt them before cooking it can make them soggy(I use pink Himalayan salt).
